i used to see 250 miles on a full tank from a pretty much standard 13sb (and lots and lots of sound system on the boot)

dont know what it works ou in todays money, cant remember the size of a nova tank, but possibly helps?

220 miles out of £40 is about 24 mpg, how good or bad that is depends on your driving style.

I work it out to be about 33-34mpg. Depending on what type of driving you do and the current weather/temperature I would say that was fine.

I get 220-240 for £40 in a 2.0 td transit so I'd say those results you have are pretty good
