there isn't much difference between the f13 & 15 box casings.. the early f13 has a clutch inspection hole. and the later f15s have hydraulic clutches, don't they?

I think the f13 has stronger ribs in the bell housing than the f10 and some say that the pinion on a f15 is an integral part of the shaft unlike the f10/f13 which is held on by a circlip, but you have to pull the cluster out to see. There must be away to tell from the outside or are they exactly the same

the f13/15 has a bigger bellhousing than the f10 to accomodate the larger flywheel on the 1.4mpi & 1.6 engines

i think you're right about the later f13's & f15 boxes having the pinion as part of the output shaft

    Hi Guys,

I am still looking! I failed to say that i need the older version that has the Clutch inspection cover! Had a couple of potentials but either wrong casing or not too local. Any more possibilities near to M5 Junc 3 (Halesowen) or Redditch?

    Cheers

    Neil
