Ye will do pal. You got it away for the winter now or you still be using it?
use it now n again, its garaged anyway like.
Progress come to a halt today cause the alternator is catching on the twin 45's any info on how to get round this?
Got the cams in after waiting 2 weeks for the valve springs!!!! But making progress now
Engine is back in and everything going back together. Should be up and running by Wednesday and hopefully back on road by Friday.
Made alot of progress today. Got the carbs on, linked them all up, got the manifold exhaust wrap on and started all the fuelling lines. Mounted the fuel pump and filter king to. Very happy so far
i would not mount the fuel pump next to the engine as on warm days when your sitting in traffic it heats the petrol in the pump up an it starts to vapour lock. also think these pumps prefer to push rather than pull could be wrong tho bud
Ah ye I see. Anywhere else you could advise to mount it?
usually see them mounted on the boot floor or i have seem them mounted underside of the car on the flat part in front of the tank where the rear passenger foot well is
