But if its modified it cannot class as a classic car, thats why im paying so much on my valver, would be about £100 FC if not, i was told that by both HIC and Performance Direct when shopping for quotes whilst mid build!

My MR2 is on classic car insurance and that has loads of modifications. Engine swap, cage, buckets, suspension, wheels, brakes etc etc.

It shows you are capable of owning the car without claiming. We will not quote on certain cars unless the customer has owned them for a year or has good recent relevant experience.
