    Default rev counter on the 6 dial clock's.

    i've just put a set in my nova with an x16xe in it and the rev counter don't work what could it be?
    ps the was a 1.0l before.

    Your 1.0 would not have had the wire to run a rev counter do you need to add one t
    Yourself.

    You need to run the green wire from the ECU to the back of the clocks

    If you have mk1 clocks (sr/gte) the rev counter wire connects by a spade terminal to the back of the rev counter it is just one wire on its own but if you have mk2 clocks (gsi) the rev counter connects to all the wires coming out the back of the clocks and as above it will be the green cable.

    Yes but the wire already in the car is no good on its own, you need to cut it and connect to the ECU instead
