oh nice! i was in hockley not long ago actually, looked a nice place compared to most other places ive been too in essex
thats like visiting several building site toilets & deciding which was the best
we had a report of a panther near mallory park about 5 years ago.. they had 20 odd old bill & a helicopter searching for it, and never found a single thing...not even a footprint..
oddly, someone i know always walked her really huge black ladrador on the fields near mallory park every afternoon when she finished work......
the thing about lions is that they are pack animals, they are not solitary hunters, like tigers are..... so if a lion was 'spotted' it was more likely someone trying to scare the general public off from coming out on a bank holiday & annoying him
I know there are lynx's around the essex area...
everyone went looking for the 'lion' last night. Someone probably just mistook it for me!
