    thanks, I'll try a heavier coat, just worried about runs!

    Don't worry about runs mate. Obviously try your best not to make the paint run, but it's not the end of the world They can be rubbed out with a bit of care. Because it's thin coats from a can I would suggest a even finer grit wet and dry. Maybe 3000 and plenty of soapy water.

    I'm by no means an expert just little things that I've learned from past mistakes
