I have spoken to police and they wont do anything about the car, the damage, the liability etc thats up to the insurers, the only thing the police can do is file a report for his behaviour!! F***ing pathetic!!!

As some have said...get onto a lawyer, citizens advice and see what's what. Also I take it you have notified your insurance company. They may well be able to chase his insurance company.
As for his attitude....well, don't give him any grounds to get one over you.

Thats unreal I wouldnt be claiming it through my insurance, they have took it somewhere and have binned it. Whats also worrying is what have they crashed it into, they may have left the scene of an accident etc.
Im usually a very chilled out person but if that happened to me i would be going off my head! There's no way he should of been driving it in the first place, especially without your permission. Everything stinks about the story and so does his attitude. The last thing that should be happening is you claiming on your insurance. You wernt even driving it and the guy who was should be covered by the garage insurance so should go through that. I would seriously get legal advice and do them as much as you can, they sound like a bunch of dicks.
