bit of a road trip last night down to south mimms services on the m25 to pick up a phase 1 gsi bumper from a guy off vectra-sport who kindly offered to bring it down from there wirral meet for another member who was selling it, lovely bunch of chaps on there.




158 miles & 4 and a 1/2 hours later i was back home with it, nearly hit the magic 40 and got 39.5 mpg which is my best yet! was 50/55 all the way there and back though, truly mind bending

so now i have a full set of phase 1 gsi bumpers


plan is to get rid of them dutty council house bump strips along the top by cutting them out and replacing it with plastic from phase 2 bumpers, seen it done before and it looks bloody awesome!

yeah thats that main reason i decided to collect it even though it was a bit out of my way, have had a few sent to me now that look as if theyve been through a combine harvester!
