    Default 1.4 sri cutting out

    hi have a 1.4 sri out of corsa in my nova.when i go to stop or just put cluth in to slow down with just the brake ect.. it just outs out and i have to start it up agen then its fine.but some time the revs go very low. any ideas on what it coud me ?

    I have same engine and was doing the same . Check your icv ( idle control valve ) is working correctly . I changed my rotter arm and distributor cap aswell . But if have a coilpack engine you wont be able to . Also coolant temp sender can play up on thaim and cause cutting out . Simple stuff first best way check throttle body and pipes for gunking up also . Hope this helps

    ok mate i will have a look tomorrow.when i unpulg the icv it dont do anything ?

    Take the icv out and give it a clean with some carb clearner.

    It might also be your brake servo failing, does it only happen when you have the brake on? Try letting it idle and depress the brake pedal, if it slows or stops its your servo.

    hi. it was the icv took one of a corsa at work today seems to be fine now

    Did you connect the VSS? The speed sensor in the gearbox, coast down stalling is a classic symptom of this not working/being connected.
