i agree, i hate leaving my nova out of site. you never know what idiots are about that might damage it because they havnt got one.

but, bonus is that people look at you in a good way with respect.

Yeah i will. Its doing prescott on the 19th august so hopefully will be fitted for then.

Was considering replacing that main shaft due to the wear on 2nd..... Did it ever cause you any problems? I noticed it was like it when you got it....

It was bought off a member on here / mig, Those crates are brilliant. will be keeping that for sure.

Funny you should say keep it simple, as i have been re-considering the engine build just recently. I have all the bits, but not sure if i can justify self building a 3k engine so might just sell up.

Box will be going in either way though. It is a lot of fun on track, i do need to slow down though as i fall off quite a lot and wouldnt want to bin it.

I think 14's look better on a mk1, But you may have to settle for comp TH's as these dont come up for sale all too often.

It came about my mind did you try the Astra MK2 engine bracket? We used it in my ex- XE Corsa. You can save an another few mm at the generator.

    ^ V-tec kicked in.

I have lots of room now. Just need to make a small idler for the bottom as the belt rubs the oil filter now
