No liquids will be going near it.I considered ply but its quite dear.i cant decide what to do now
Will be building engines on it (not too often i hope!) Welding on it,general faffage etc.
Ply is expensive mdf is spongy and steel is too loud and filthy.
Just mdf it and use sheet steel over the top. I've noticed the boards (mdf) on my racking have mold on them after a few weeks of bot letting air through the garage :/

Replaced both trailing arms on a 17 year old Mk1 Ford Focus (yes really) in under 3 hours in the blistering cold on my front drive. No seized bolts, no rounded nuts... a refreshing change!
