    not really , just been messing around with weights for the last 3.5 years to try and get into shape before my 40th next year, after a life of a couch potato. I'm just oldskool and my genetics/shape is good for the game. Biggest key is lift big with the legs for growth and less body fat and free weights only for everything !!!

    Around 2.5 years for me. Started at 67kg though so been hard to get my weight up. I'm the same I use free weights for everything except pull downs for tris and cable flys really.

    5ft 7 for me and never been to the gym, weight is 9half stone

    Picked this up today (yesterday now) from my local Halfords. A Voodoo Bizango 29er. Feels weird being back on a MTB after nearly two years of riding road bikes only.

    Couch potato and groundswork though... I've just started going to the onsite gym at work after gaining about 15-20kg after 2 1/2 years sat behind desks and not much activity before that, and it's tough to get into, 10 minutes on a rowing machine is enough to kick my ass and I can't lift ****. Currently just trying to improve general fitness so I can get up the 3 flights of stairs at work and have a conversation without going blue at the top although I'm not aiming for a brick ****house build nor do I think I have the genetics for it
