    Default LED Dash "bulbs"

As you well know the standard dash lights are sh*t.

I want to replace them with LED versions (so I can actually see what speed i'm doing).

Does anyone know how many I need in total.

That's for the full dash clocks, Headlight switch, clock and the heater dial back lights.

    Thanks.

Yes Graeme that's the plan, just don't know how many I need to change the whole dash/clock back lighting.

Don't really want to remove everything, if the fountain of knowledge can help me on here.

I replaced my dials bulbs with LEDs, they're a whiter white but much dimmer. I guess they're too directional for the glow the original bulbs try and produce

White ones that were originally supposed to be for my mk4 astra here, fitted them in all my switches, got some t5 bulb holders and a load of t5 leds to go in the actual clocks, the mk1 ones are a twunt to get out so mot done them yet but im really happy with the ones in my dash switches and heater controls, (all in white btw) did my old mk2 xe ones years ago in blue and they looked good, apart from being blue of course

So what are we saying then.

LEDs are a no. Is it better to replace the the old bulbs with the new type???

Something has to be done, as it's damn right dangerous as it is.
