    Default HELP!!! Got opel manta alloys and rub in arches of my mk1 nova!

    Hi guy need help!
    got mk1 nova fitted opel manta alloys but when lowered they scrape in arches like hell!
    i have grinded them back but still not much joy.

    any advise or wheels that dont stick out as wide?

    wrong wheels for a nova iirc

    the offset is all wrong

    i think the offset u need is et49 but i got a spare on mine at the mo an thats et39

    The Ascona-Manta wheels have offset 30 to 37 ( the alu ones are usually 5.1/2 - 6")
    The Nova ones are 47.5 to 49
    So........ its is time either for harder springs or...less load.....or repair shop widening the rear arches

    NOT TO FORGET that by changing the offset you have steering geometry problems and bearings/shafts problems in latertime
