    Default Growing my own..........

    Vegetables with the kids!
    Got 2 plastering/cement tubs with potatoes and onions outside.
    Inside the conservatory (which is as hot as a greenhouse) we have tomatoes,cucumber and carrots germinating in trays.
    Hopefully they will work!
    Kids enjoyed it anyway











    Anybody else grow veg??

    I've got herbs growing on the window sill and use to grow tomatoes and chilies, tomatoes are easy to grow and taste loads better then you can buy at the supermarket

    Mike senior has got some rhubarb & strawberries on the grow. Thats about it really.

    Tomatoes from supermarket are bleeding tasteless,seriously,they have been for years.

    Chives, parsley, basil and tyme, the tyme went ****ie so chucked it as did one of the basil plants and the other basil isn't looking good, this is my first time trying to grow herbs and its not working out great tbh

    going to try and grow loads of tomatoes this year as I love them hopefully blitz a load up in to sauces to freeze and use as and when i want them

    TJ-My local garden centre was selling a kit for £2-included a trough,compost and the seeds.
