He phoned me Saturday after the incident to say the bike shop reckon its a write off, £700 for a new one. Not that it can't be paired but its cheaper to replace it with a new one.

He wanted my insurance details so he could attempt to make a claim.
The insurance company are aware, I checked the Highway Code for cyclists and it states to leave plenty of room when passing parked cars, he also must have seen me indicate and pull over if he came from the where he said he did. I reckon he was squeezed by a passing car and had no choice but to run close to me.

finding out that 'tack coat', the liquid emulsion stuff you use to get fresh tarmac to stick to old tarmac, is hugely attracted to the plastic bits on the inside of washing machines.... and then having to wipe petrol round inside it to get the nasty brown stuff off... i'm still dizzy from the fumes.

I'm working a 12 hour shift tonight, but on the plus side it's double time and I'm holiday at the end of the week!

Going in to Sainsburys at 3:50 thinking to be quick, not about what i was picking up and spending 49quid....
All I wanted was a Pepsi, just one Pepsi
    Far from suicidal
    Still I get them tendencies
    Bringing back them memories
That I really miss when I reminisce

yes, bitumen does melt with diesel on it, but this tack coat stuff is not bitumen, its a sort of a paint.

Was in WHSmith earlier with a copy of Total Vauxhall in my hand. It was absolutely piss thin, can't believe I actually thought about buying it. I feel sorry for anyone who has a subscription!!

Bought a copy of Miniworld instead...been a far better read so far
