So I'll be posting them back to a scammer at an unknown address and *hoping* they give me a full refund, postage is at my cost for some unknown reason, and I'll be back at square one.
I dont think i'd wanna post them back...

Iain, what's up with the bodies? If you have a partial refund why not send them to Jenvey for a health check and rebuild? They probably need it anyway.

If you do send them back don't skimp on postage, Proof of sending wont be enough in a case like this, they will want proof of delivery so use RM special delivery.

What bits are missing? jenvey have awesome customer service! I was missing 2 of the mini ball joints from the linkage and both fuel rail mounts and they sent me them for free, didn't even want postage money. Ive also heard of other sernarios where people have got free parts from them. Give them a try, you never know!

Its the throttle linkage costing 100 quid, be an epic freebie that. Its not the fact I need them it's the fact he's trying to rip me off.

I could live with that, so I paid up...

...but being the suspicious prick that I am, I called the bank and inquired about the real reason for them not accepting his proposition. Turns out he was telling porkies and had not done his homework. In fact, his calculations were riddled with grave mistakes to the point it was just funny.

Anyway I am going to get my money back (shouldn't have paid in the first place, you know what they say about hindsight and that) so watch this space. Incompetent imbeciles. And this was not the first one - over the years we've had 4 so-called mortgage experts going through our paperwork, all promising miracles and they all failed miserably at our expense. They're *******s, the lot of them.
Sent the mortgage advisor an email about 6 weeks ago. Got a phonecall in which he promised to refund the €295 I paid him. As of yet: NOTHING. Needless to say I've sent him a little reminder. Tosser.
