I bought and watched 'NED' yesterday it was a really good film, like most British films it was a lot more gritty and real then the Crap yanks churn out , I'm going to start a British film collection and just wanted to know what ones you guys own and what ones to avoid


Hopefully Scotland isn't really like the film portrays but it wasn't until I went to Manchester for 2 weeks that I realised shameless was a documentary.

Trainspotting, sexy beast, snatch, lock stock, rocknrolla, layer cake, football factory, the business, Essex boys, rise of a foot soldier, there's a load more but I can't think

Get Crater, Clockwork Orange, ID, Quadrophenia, Scum, green street, all gone Pete Tong, Human Traffic are some of my British favourites.

I loved NEDS, thought it was a really good film. As above Rise of the Foot Soldier, Football Factory etc all good British films. I also like This is England and Dead Mans Shoes my next ones to watch are Twin Town and Brighton Rock

I found Clockwork Orange seriously disturbing...

Scum is one of the best British films imo don't like get carter or any film with Michael cane he is a shocking actor
