Default my mk2 nova sr build

hey guys, so here goes nothing!

my mate bought a mk 2 nova just for the coilovers and redturd engine.......and ive ended up buying the shell
fitting a 1.3sr lump thats done 57k for now.registered a 1.4 so may put it back to standard

after a bit of poking about weve discovered its an sr not a flair as we thought.some one has swaped the front seats for a laugh!

the c20xe looked like it had been fitted with nothing more than a grinder and a spoon all the right intention was there though!

now stripped weve had a look around the car and there isnt much welding to be done rot wise but tidying up the seam welding

rather than bend the firewall to suit the airbox, they put a grinder through it!
    see pic

looks like its coming off then

    seam welding needs tidying up

at least everything has been done for a c20xe maybe in the future!!

and this will be coming off!

drivers arch needs sorting but sills are original and rust free battery tray needs a small plate and the floor is ok! haha well see!

thats all for now, wheels to paint for the gte next weekend so dont know if ill get anything done!

**** about face i know but painted my wheels the other day, very pleased with the outcome, and engine is cleaned and serviced with new genuine sump and rocker cover gaskets, timing belt fitted

yeah it was bought by my mate, solely for the coilovers and the xe!!although he did try to nick the windscreen for his gte, oh and the tank, exhaust, (wich i might be putting back on it as weve fitted an ashleys to the van) and hes now sold the crappy 14's to some grassers!haha
think the plan was to sell the xe but its now resting gently in his novavan!mmmmmm rip pip pip!

but he did me it for a stupid price so not bothered!! hes made half his moneys back and ive got a very cheap half decent sr!although i did respray his gte for nowt + a few beers
