Default Passed the MOT at long last!

Got my track Nova through an MOT at last, that's two Novas I have put on the road in under a week.

This car started as a huge challenge to get going and roadworthy way before an MOT, well by January I thought I would have a go, it was a massive and ridiculous fail. I'll write more on this later if anyone is interested but it turns out the tester didn't want to test it.

2 weeks ago I put it in another MOT station, it failed on a few points which were acceptable and sensible, so after I repaired it with a little help I collected it today, something I thought this car would never get....an MOT, yipee.....................

here is how it looks now that I have it, splitter removed and sideskirts removed, I doubt I'll ever get the aerodynamic benefit as I'll never do over 130 in it.

Still a few jobs, the cambelt is wrong but, the one I was given for a 1.4 is too long, I assume this is for the 1.4i with tensioner etc. Will a 1.3 SR cambelt be the same as a 1.4SR (carb) belt?

I also have a little fine tuning of the stupid rose joint gear selector stuff, 2nd and 5th are a little awkward to select.

The next step once DVLA give my log book back with the correct engine is to insure/tax and then start some road testing.

Well done. Like the gear knob.
All I wanted was a Pepsi, just one Pepsi
    Far from suicidal
    Still I get them tendencies
    Bringing back them memories
That I really miss when I reminisce

Yeah, not sure if that's too close for safety? If it is I'll move it back but sitting in it, I can't bash my head of the bar as I am a short rse
