    ive just brought my self a new stereo for my mk1 nova and original stereo cables are all still original not been cut or modified in any way
    i brought the iso adaptor that's for my car but it don't fit do i have to cut and solder or is there a different adaptor i can buy.

    that's just an iso extension lead mate. what make of stereo you got?

    i had a phillips origanal gm thing and the new is a sony one from halfrauds

    its a Sony CDXGT550UI

    then just plug the lead that came with the sony straight into the ISO connector on the nova loom. If the plug on the nova loom isn't ISO then someone has been chopping it up

    Early Nova's never had ISO looms, they had a loom with seperate pins & connectors.
