GS is the pony 1.8..
There isn't a lot between the GR and GPX.
Aircon delete and some light wheels and there's nothing between them.
GPX suffer badly on higher mileage motors if they've been hitting mivec a lot. Its not uncommon at our club rolling road days to see the hopes and dreams of many mivec owners crushed when they realise they've dropped a lot more bhp than the non mivecs.
As for the max power chart... Well we all know what a fine piece of motoring literature that mag was. Just remind me, was that chart next to the monthly "crooze" skank feature? Kinda sums it up nicely :-D
