Tunning the 8v engine

when you change the air box to a cone filter do you need to get it tunned to it or not just bolt cone on and drive ?

no just a oil change and put new ht cap on it and mid and back box exhaust thats it

i done that and i get the eml come on when i pull away but when i let of the the power it goes off

yeah got the afm on it and its the gte 1.6 i engine
