My Nova TD...
I bought this with the intention of using it for my job as a courier, wanted something a bit more fun to drive and comfortable than the fiesta courier i had before.
Got it back to maidstone, set about rebuilding it completely, making everything work propperly the way it was supposed to, removed the stupid yellow mirrors/spoiler and put the proper ones on!
Anyway, spec is currently;

256mm Grooved brake dics

Brand new FLI 16cm speakers
Corsa 1.5TD engine (has done approximately 60,000miles - runs the 12v glow plug system for an easier start)

Manual boost controller (set at 17psi - theese engines will take 25, but i wanted it reliable!!)
Diesel pump retuned (fuelling increased to match boost)
Custom Ashley exhaust system from the flexi joint back
ASH (auto silicone hose) connectors
Forge twin piston dumpvalve (think this wants servicing, possibly new seals as its not very loud anymore)
Recently had all the clamps replaced on all the boost hosing to make sure of no leaks
Overboost valve blanking kit fitted (should you want any more out of it you wont get any greif! i fitted this as the standard overboost valve started to leak)

2x road tyres (poor, but legal tread fitted on rear)
1x road tyre (new, on front with one of the snow tyres)

delocked boot (opens on keyfob)
Toad alarm/immobiliser
A lot of service history
FULL v5/logbook
Bad points, and ill be honest:
It will possibly be mucky when you come to view it.
Scab of rust on the roof, passengers side near the windscreeen
Arches have a few scabs of surface rust coming through - however i can include two full arch panels with the sale for a bit extra, as i'd planned to completely replace them due to it being a common place for a nova to rot.
Tracking needs doing
One of the exhaust downpipe bolts vibrated loose, and as such there is a slight blow in the exhaust there & an occasional rattle...
Battery warning light is on, however the battery has been tested and it's fine, as has the alternator. I've been told it's probbably a loose cable in the back of the dashboard.
Passengers side wishbone wants replacing
Drivers side balljoint has a bit of play in it - Can include the replacement part for a few extra ££
Currently does not drive due to clutch/gearbox fault - Not sure which, however it will select all the gears just makes an odd noise when the clutch pedal is released and gives no drive whatsoever. WILL NEED TO BE TOWED!!
Think one glowplug is out, when it starts up it doesnt idle properly for a minuite or so till either it gets warm or you pull away. Once warmed up runs spot on - think it wants all four plugs changing tbh!
All in all a very cheap to insure and run car. I've driven to swansea & sheffield in this thing on courier runs used it for pizza delivery and all sorts. never had any greif untill the gearbox/clutch packed up. Its got about 4months tax and the MOT runs out in april i belive - ill check up on this.
Just taken my CBT and im hooked, Whatever i make from the sale of the nova is to fund my full bike licence. If it doesnt sell within a month or so then i will be breaking it up for parts, and weighing the shell in which seems a shame to kill off a perfectly salvageable car! Would make a perfect 2.0 conversion/project.
Im looking for £550 Price is open to sensible offers, i'll also consider swaps. For £600 i'll throw in both replacement arches, a diesel filter, whatever oil/screenwash i've got, and the balljoint for the drivers side. Keep in mind that i've spent £750 on the car, and spent at least another £400 to get it the way it is today - i think it's a pretty reasonable price. Was asking £895 before the clutch/gearbox problem developed. Call, email, text, whatever - it all comes through to my phone, however bear with me if i dont answer straight away as im on call. Postcode is ME15 7AY if you're trying to work out distances Phone number is: 07414515751
