    Default PayPal having a fit?

Having an issue with it. Trying to send someone a payment for a part. As I normally do I go to:

Send Money - Put in address and amount - select 'paying for goods/service' - click 'continue'

and normally it'll progress onto the next stage where you review and write a note with your payment.

When I click to proceed I get "You must add funds to your PayPal account before sending more money."

I've never added funds. My Credit card is linked to my account so any payment I make go out from there. Why is it asking me now?

    Anyone know why?

Nope. It's still linked to account. The credit limit has even increased by 3 fold today and I even made a payment last night for gifts for the wife and all was ok.

Something is up with your funding methods if its trying to take money from your paypal balance.

What account type do you have? Make sure its properly verified.

If your bank account has changed as you say the limit maybe it needs re linking or verifying because if it's been working then just stopped that's only reason youv described that seems reasonable

My account is verified and the card is still linked so I can only assume it is the change of card status thats done it. I'll try remove the card and relink.

Managed to sort it... deleted the card and re-added it. seems to have done the trick.

    Being verified don't mean sh!t.

I'm not verified and I have no problems whatsoever...
