There isn't much difference in the clutch changing time between the two. Is it the earlier style Mini (R50/R53)? I got quoted about 4 hours for the job on my 2004 Cooper S. That was by an independant Mini specialist but he enters the Mini challenge so it used to working quickly to get engines in and out. Based on where you are if your looking for someone else to do the job check out Lohen at Eccleshall as they are a Mini only specialist.

Hi mate, it's a r50 1.6 cooper 2003. I've heard its easier on the non s/c versions. We've got a price for it, just want to check the actual labour time.
