    Default sri loom, gsi loom

Hello, dose any body no if a nova gsi engine loom is different too a nova sri engine loom, the gsi is coilpack and the sri's are dizzy type, is there any extra plugs or wires with one or the other? Im putting a sri engine in my nova and have been given a gsi loom to get the engine up and running but have realized that the engines have different methods of makeing a spark, the plug that will have plugged into the coilpack on the gsi ,appears to plug straight into the distributor/ amplifier on the sri. Dose this mean it will work? Will it not work and i will need an sri loom? Or is there a couple of wires i need to change to make it work? Any help will be welcome, thanks.

Most gsi's ran a dizzy aswell, only the later C16's ran coilpack, put up a picture of your loom, it would help us see if it's a C16 or E16 loom you have.

The E16 has 2 big plugs, one for the ecu on the bulkhead ( the ignition controller ) and one for the AFM, also there will be an octane RON plug ( later E16's had this but early ones didn't )
I'm pretty sure the C16SE is integral with the car loom but E16SE looms are separate and have a multiplug to connect into the car loom,
This is my GSI with a E16

c14se (sri) and c16se (later gsi) look exactly the same early gsi's and GTE's have EFI on the throttlebody
