can someone please check my e16se wiring

thought it would be best to get a second opinion on my wiring,

as my rev counter doesnt work and i cant seem to get it to work

this green wire coming off the gte loom is currently running to the top right spade on the coil.....


and where it is plugged to



and i am running my ign live from the old coil plug



now all runs well except my rev dial..... this is where the problem starts.

i have the green wire from my original loom which used to go to the coil plug blanked off at the moment. and when i connect it to the coil it cuts the engine out?!

im sure you conect it to the green wire from the gte loom bud providing you got the right coil for the loom to plug in to

yeah thats what i thought, but that green wire has to go to the coil to make it run

thats starnge never heard of that one before all i have ver used on a coil is iirc ignition live and earth thaqts to make it run like

yeah its really strange, i remember it did originally start without that connected, but it reved high and now it only starts and runs with this wire connected

hmmm isit he right coil for it as mine was round like a mini coil if you get me not the little block ones
