Where did you get this manifold from?
Bought it from ebay Germany, dont know any facts about it, theres no factory plate or something that would say who made it.

Had to change the Bumper, for Road use the Mattig bumper is a bit conspicuous

it was time to drive it a little bit so great chance to grab some pictures

and the steering geomatry had to be done

i decided to run -3° camber ...yeah you read right it was possible to run nearly -5°!!

    and then.....

... the impossible happend. A few days later, engine had no power and started knocking i was gutted. not again!!

Love the widen arches, but i did like the orange paint..

    Car is a bit awesome.
All I wanted was a Pepsi, just one Pepsi
    Far from suicidal
    Still I get them tendencies
    Bringing back them memories
That I really miss when I reminisce

i ripped out the engine on the same day it "broke".

at the end of the day i had a car without an engine

some days late some new parts arrived i just ordered
    new mocal oil cooler

air vents and tubes for brake ventilation

and adjustable cam pulley i couldnt use

I was fed up! some much spent money for a few miles driving....

A friend of mine converted his Corsa B to C20XE so he had a X16XE left wich i could have for free. Big Thanks to him!

So the next engine was delivered to my poor little nova

and i began to prepare the engine to take place in the nova. I used the lightened flywheel and clutch from my 8V engine and pulleys from a C16SE.

and two weeks later the new heart was planted in

Ecotec the cover was gone very soon!

after that i had to get a lot of parts to get it running...
    fuelpipes

    throttle cable

I used the speed sensor from a C14NZ which wasn't a wise desicion.

then i started to prepare the engine loom. nice little after-work-activity

wired in a Nova connector for easy plug and plug action

and fitted it to the engine/car

Got a new Internal shifter out of a Corsa B and a new gear knob
used the baseplate of the old shifter as a support to get the gear knob a bit higher.

pipes pipes pipes... that would make a nice Rollcage

i couldn't resist to put it together to see what it looks like

    Factory fresh Produced by Heigo

couple of days later it was fitted.

it was a nice day to take a picture in the nearby quarry

soon afterwards more pipes were delivered

2.5 inch exhaust system from Friedrich Motorsport... could be welded with a bit more care must be produced on a monday

fitting the exhaust system wasn't that difficult. love the way it look under the car!

replaced the speed sensor because the engine kept cutting out when the car was stoped

two lunatics on one pictures my nova and my friends corsa B C20XE

then i treated my self by buying a trailer to carry my nova from racetrack to racetrack

And then, after one year i could return to the Nurburgring

someone even took a picture of my car at the carpark

and if someone can be bothered there are some onboard videos of me driving the ring. My driving style was a bit conservative, because i never driven this car in anger before and i didnt know its potential.

the engine had no problems, the car was easy to drive and i had a lot of fun driving the Ring -> hugh success
