    heater blower disna work any ideas wht the problem is?? cheers

    most commanly the motor is seized where water has access through the air grills

    its a mk1 with a mk2 gsi dash so al cheack fuses an tht. anyway to determine tht the motors broke under the bonnet???

    took my heater blower motor out an put a live feed an a negative straight from the battery on to the yellow wire at the motor an its workin fine an the fuses all look fine so any idea what the problem could be???

    either the switch, the speed resistor or the wiring

    so it could be the blower plug tht plugs to the loom. where is the speed resistor located

    The resistor is the green bit on the blower motor

    you can get them for later models from gm (or ebay)
