    Default Corsa B's

Asking in here since I don't want to sign up to anymore forums!!

Cousin is looking a car to tide her over to the summer as she is moving to Austrailia. Not looking to spend a fortune on a car, so a Corsa B would be as good a bet as any. What I want to know is where they are prone to rusting etc? Are they as bad as a Nova?!

Seen a 95 one for sale which is a likely candidate, so want to have half an idea of what to look out for.

    Cheers

    Adrian

Basically, it's a modern nova, so do all the same checks as if it were a nova

I've seen more rot on Corsa B bulkheads than Novas but as above just pretend its around Nova and you'll not be far wrong.

Post 97 ones are much better..

Anyway everywhere, Rear arches under the trims, Behind rear bumper, Spare wheel well, Sills (Although its from inside so you cant see it through the underseal), Front of bonnet, cross member, Bottom of doors, Round windscreen, Front chassis legs, Floors.

Everywhere, But they are all over 10 years old now, My little 12v (13 years old, 180k) has lasted and isn't rusty in all of those places, Only some.

Around the rear wiper is a common spot for rust and on the early ones the B pillars can crack. Sent you a Pm there too.
