    Your right Stuart it will be very tight but not impossible - lots of work for a daily - an 2lt xe would be easier

    Or to be different fit a 1.3 starlet turbo engine then you could use the loom and management etc from the toyota.

    id look into GReedy Emanage im tempted by this on my 1600 8V turbo, around 400 quid iirc and more suited for turbo applicants.

    another question if vxr pistons fit a baby xe will they a 8v if the bottom ends are identical?

    Yeah they will fit but there shaped for four valves per cylinder, so wouldn't work pal.
