    If youre going to be grinding with the car in that position, it might be an idea to cover the roof lining to prevent unwanted damage to it from errant sparks and other grindery associated flying-ness

    It's cleaner than I thought yea it's goin back to bare metal re sealed and painted. The black bit is waxoil that I put on years ago at least thers no rust under it haha

    Damm I forgot to take out the roof cloth I'll pull it out tomorrow as you say I don't want to burn it

    So just got at this again this week havnt had much time lately. Got the wire wheel fired up to get the underseal off! What a bollox of a job really happy with the condition of the shell with just a few minor things needing welded



    Crack beneath drivers seat rail


    Drivers arch is pretty bad but only the lower part which is behind the skirt

    Don't think I could justify putting a full arch in it tbh but I'll see how I feel when I start the welder

    Plated the front legs and stitch welded her up still have the back end to do and fix that manky arch

    Havent checked up on this in ages. Love the look of the nova before you stripped it again, should look even better afterwards
    the pulsar and '86 are also lovely, i envy your car collection!

    Thanks mate yea it should look a lot better when it's finished and painted red again I envy a lot of people who have no cars because they have money

    Cut out some rot today and found some more anyone any idea how to get the rear spring carrier off the chassis leg? Is it spotted? I was thinkin of cutting around it and setting a new bit in then 're attach the carrier





    I'll get the welder going tomorrow

    Cut the inner arch on out a bit today as ther was more rust behind the outer skin



    New patch made



    And welded in



    Cut the spring carrier out and fixed the rust on the under side of it an weirded it back in



    Just have to give it a buff down and a lick of paint
