    spec on car so far is

    rolecaged shell with calibra rear floorpan big rear turrets and wide arch kit (to compensate for calibra rearend)
    strut braced front and rear (rear strut braces will be for sale soon)
    engine c20xe (maybe going on tb's or carbs soon)
    box f20 4x4 (need an lsd if anyone selling one)
    locked tf box (mike hayward)
    mk2 astra 8v gearstick (direct turret mount)
    std rear diff (also if anyone has a lsd the want to sell let me know)
    stud and nut conversion all round
    corsa c front coilovers on big block front hubs
    mk2 golf rear coilovers
    corsa c pas coloumn wired through adjustment switch
    grooved front discs with 16v calipers on ferodo pads
    std 16v calibra rear discs and calipers
    calibra independant rear end
    perspex windows all round (minus windscreen thats a top tint)
    lightend doors , bootlid and bonnet
    braided brake hoses throughout ran inside car
    8mm copper fuel lines ran inside car
    (need a corsa c steering boss) for sparco steering wheel
    compomotive mo 15" (looking for some 15"track slicks)

    i think thats all at the moment

    colour shceme is going to be white and blue

    Not too sure about the locked centre diff - couldnt you find something that gave a 60/40 torque split or something? shunt more power to the back to reduce the understeer

    Besides that, its a pretty awesome bit of fabrication!

    the way the f20 4x4 works is that it sends power to the rear end when it is needed, so locking it will product a 50/50 split, which without resorting to spending huge monies, is pretty much as good as it gets... considering the weight of a nova 4x4 will still be around 60/40 it should still be a load of fun to drive. and maybe playing with tyre widths & spring rates might be a cheaper way to address any understeer.

    +1^ what mowgli said, tyres and suspension changes will be an easier way to tackle understeer, driving style has alot to do with it aswell. Very interesting project btw, hope all goes well, plus definitely think its a good idea for the tb's or carbs, imagine the noise on a 4x4 lauch at full chat, will sound epic
