Yea mate I have found a problem with the wellers like , I know 16v calipers don't fit in 13 inch rims so already knew I was going to have to change them but actualy they did fit sort of the caliper went into the rin fine but the inside of the spokes were fouling on the caliper would have ment spacing the wheel off about 20mm so I have gone back to 1400 calipers/ discs not realy a problem on a car that's going in a straight line. I know your wheels are 15" but the shape of spoke is exact the same and flat like mine so I suspect you will have the same problem. Just a bit of advice that's all mate.

not sure if there being used yet as rubber is a bit of a knightmare to get hold of cheap enough

going to go 15x8j at rear and 15x7j at the front i think just because of tyre availability in those sizes

I know with me only needing 2 tyres at daft sizes they wernt to bad and I managed to get hold of the michelin slicks I have on for not to bad of a price but when I was looking on the net the same ones for a set of 4 were like 900 quid. Prices are mental

put engine back in today to check tie bars clear the sump and gearbox as ive mounted them further into the front cross member than "standard" and they do

also wanted to fit all the mounting boxes for the gearstick (direct to box linkage)

and it all sits nice in the arches now its all widened (still 10mm spacers to go in yet)

and carbs all fit nicely on the manifold i made the other day

Hmm the tie bars should ideally mount inline with where the lower arms do on the chassis.

Good progress though even though those arches warrant something huge!
