    Default I'm in Edinburgh...

... for my honeymoon for the next few days, just wondering if any of you guy/gals had any recommendations on nice places to visit or eat out whilst I'm here, also anywhere to avoid.

    Cheers
    David

Hiya, I'm of no use as I'm 40 odd miles to the west

    West is best
Although there is a 1km outdoor karting track just at Haddington called Raceland, arrive and drive
success is only limited by a weak mind

Mowgli I've been, its full of sarcastic sods.

I'm getting nearer to seeing your nova finished though Bazil

Tbh I feel like I'm in China though, I never knew there was such a large community around Edingburgh.

Oh and the weather is milder than back home was

One thing i found great to do, head to tourist info and get a 2 day tourist pass http://www.edinburgh.org/pass/ gets you in free to a lot of things, well worth the £39 each!

We done it as a honeymoon ourselves, but to finish a night off go do the Auld reekie terror tour, its a great laugh!

Also i good place to eat if you find the Tron Church (on the royal mile) head down the right steep hill, there is a place called city cafe its on blair street where you get

Then you can head to garfunkles and get served by
