    Default front speakers

    hi guys, can anyone tell me how to get to the front speakers on a mk1 interior. the drivers side speaker has stopped working and need to be able to get to it. cheers.

    you can take the dash panel out, or you can pop the fuse box out & go up theu there

    the passenger one is accessed via removing the glovebox. Drivers is as said above, move the fuse box out the way and the light switch, speakers are held by two screws and two clips in the dash

    Speedo out and get up-side-down under the dash and reach up, sorted!

    Sorry to hi-jack but anyone know what size the mk1 dash speakers are and before some clever Richard suggests it I can't measure mine as it never had any
