Default Recommend me a decent set of component speakers

Fitted some speaker pods to the nova at the front of the door pocket, it has holes for 13cm component speakers and tweeters.

Got some sony ones in at the moment which have an integrated tweeter being run off a 475 watt 4 channel amp also powering the 6x9s in the parcel shelf.

The current sony fronts cannot handle enough bass for my liking and quite easily start to pop on bass notes.

Anybody got any suggestions of some good components that can handle bass well?

Also got very limited room to mount the crossovers to run the tweeters seperately so some nice compact crossovers would be great.

Focal Polyglass, Rainbow, Diamond etc for 13's imo.

Don't run bass through them though!

All of mine are Jl Audio, really enjoy the characteristics of their speakers, mine ate the zr and xr ranges with I have now been superseeded I believe have a look atb the C2 range on ebay and get them in some notice on axis door builds, but as limp has said there aren't a lot of speakers that size that will handle big bass unless you run6 inch subs which are only good for bass
