    Default Banded steel's..

Right Ive done some searching for places that band steel wheels etc,

Seems theres a place that specialises in them, banded steels.com, but there bound to be massively expensive! plus there website looks a bit out dated, not sure if there trading..

And Ive googled up some threads on RetroRides etc, and found a member on there who does them £45 a wheel for 14's and another thread that said of a company doing them £20 a wheel..

But I'm just wondering who on here knows of places that do them?

    Scott

i once emailed about bandedsteels.com and they was very exspensive not only do you have to pay for the banding but posting both ways is extra.

Reason it's so expensive is the difference between laser cutting and CNC tig welding wheels bang on straight to within minutes of a degree and some fella in his shed with an angle grinder and a MIG welder that lines it up by eye.

these were the wheel i had done. Workmanship was spot on.

I didn't pay any where near £200 for the whole lot. (was 3 and a half years ago though! )
