Hello novaload'ers, Just wanted too say hello,my name is Ryan and I am from Birmingham in the west midlands,I have owned my 1992 nova 1.2i spin for five years now and started a 2.0 16 v conversion last year, but its not a red top its the ecotec x20xev lump just as quick as the red top imo, just a **** too wire up the imobiliser ,I had too use the Astra clocks and combine the Astra loom into the nova one but if I can do it any one can I have never looked at a wiring diagram before and with a bit of head scratching and alot of hand drawn diagrams apart from one wrong wire she started up you should have seen the smile on my face the only car experience I have is car body repair vrq level 1,I got the nova because I had ten points on my licence it was the only thing I could afford too insure,so I kept the nova till my points came off which was last year so I decided too start the conversion,But now I've put it up for sale so if your interested in a well looked after nova have a look in the cars for sale 1992 NOVA 2.0 16v PROJECT FOR SALE and have a look.
