extra valves

if I bought a car that was registered as a 1400, and not changing the CC at all, but accidently sellotape and bubble gum 8 'decorative' valves somewhere under the bonnet... would that be politically acceptable in all 51 states ? or would I be sent straight to the gallows for my incompetance

Lol think you will need to tell them its had a 1.4 16v fitted as its not worth the hassle if you have a crash
