    will there be any problems if i fit 7x17" wheels 2 a nova apart from rubbin????

    As you you said you will get scrubbin on the arches (quite bad) especially if you have lowerd it. If you do put 17" on it make sure you get arch work done on it!!!

    will they put any strain on any other part of the car eg drive shafts

    the 17s could put strain on the driveshafts, not too sure mate, but i no that the wheels will make acceleration slower and theyll also put ur speedo out abit

    if you want performance, dont go for 17s, if you want looks, go for 17s! (or 18s or 19s with wide arch kit!) :D

    This is the Pro-Tec wide arch kit. made to order. not a very easy kit to fit took me ages to get it right. Supernovas do a kit too but can't say anything about it as i have never seen it unfitted.

    If the offest isn't right then it will cause more strain on your wheel bearing when you corner due to the extra gyroscopics. :wink:

    LOL, in other words, if you want good looks as well as performance, go for 16s, if you want full on performance, go for 15s!

    but, doesnt 15s with high profiles have near enough the same rolling radious as 16s with low profiles?
