found out that my clocks are knackered on the nova all the copper tracks (think thats what there called) are buggered so bought a new set and the connecter doesnt fit mine is a 6 pin and the new ones are a 7 pin why is there a difference?

Judging by your picture <<--- I'm guessing you have a Mk1...
Are you sure you haven't bought Mk2 clocks?
7 pin are Mk2 clocks mate
