That pic of the steering wheel etc actually gives me a headache being backwards after looking at a RHD for so long

Looks very clean. Silk Violet is one of the best GSi colours!

Just a quick post to show my old car at Trax, pics taken from PNG news...

My car is the China Blue one, top right. Spot Joff's Nova on the bottom right with the E16SE engine in. Bought the engine from Joff once he swapped it for a 2.0 16v...

Feeling a bit sad for selling on the old China Blue one. Admittedly, it was well past its best but being an early 1984 Nova it'd have been worth keeping it. Oh well, decisions decisions... Perhaps you can post up some piccies of your old pride and joy?

Guys, I need to swap the steeringwheel. Should I go for:

    1. Original GSI steeringwheel (prefered because original)
    2. Momo Race steeringwheel (prefered because it looks better and has a leather grip)

I want to keep the car as original as possible but I think the original GSI steeringwheel is made of plastic or am I wrong? I prefer a leather steeringwheel.

As for the sunvisors, I thought al GSI's were equipped with sunvisors like the Sri's have, so with lights build in, but mine are poverty spec standard...

    Thanks!

GSi wheel is rubber, I'd go for the std gsi probs.

The GSi sunvisors are povo spec, Seen some people dye the blue/red sri ones though.

If its me i would buy a new gsi wheel, but also fit a sparco suade one, an as alex said, for some strsnge reason sri novas had better sun visors, gsi was just standard greay bog rubish

Bought a very clean original GSI steeringwheel in Aachen (Germany) tonight. Will swap tomorrow. Funny thing is, it doesn't have the red coloured ring round the Opel logo on the horn button...

Now I'm after a standard backbox, found two boxes:

    original with chrome end pipe
    original with black end pipe

I think I'll opt for the chrome one. Anyone seen an original backbox with black end pipe on a C16SE before?

    Cheers!
