So I had a little hole in the bottom of the O/S/F chassis leg near the out rigger. As the MOT is fast approaching I thought I should get it sorted. So today I cut it out and replaced with some 1.6mm steel sheet. Nice and strong now and I managed to get rid of 99% of the rot doing it this way.

A little update, fitted a new high flow fuel pump.
    Old and new.

I also made a quick scuttle cover. Came out well.

    MOT tomorrow, wish me look!

    Dan

I bought a Kemso off eBay. I know they are not the greatest name but they make good pressure and performs well for the price. It was listed for a BMW 325i. The old one was the cheapest Chinese pump on eBay at the time and it has lasted three years with an XE just fine.

MOT passed, and a good road test. Seriously impressed with how fast the car is. However it is a bit of handful. More practice needed!

I had a damaged O/S head light on the shelf, so instead of scrapping it I put it to use by making a cold air intake for drag racing.

Finished in Upol Etch primer lacquered as it was the nearest thing I had to my bumper paint! In fairness it came out well so I can't complain.
