    ================================================

So after 18 months, I've finally returned to Novas, having just bought a pretty tidy 1989 1.4 SR

It's currently lowered 60mm on springs and shocks, has a MK2 dash fitted so I don't get cancer, and a few other bits that you can see.
I'll let the pictures do the talking...

so the plans for now are to replace the rear arches, replace the doors, tidy up the interior, re-tango the indicators and tail lights, and also remove the drug dealer window tints. Alloys need some center caps and a refurb too

other than the essential work, I'm going to stick a set of bike carbs on it, and a few other related engine bits.

bought the carbs within 3 hours of getting the car

    Keihin CVK40's off a ZX-9

stripped them down and cleaned all the swarf and dried petrol out of them. forgot to take pictures so now we are half assembled again

float bowl gaskets are £10 each so thought sod that, and put them back as they were
and all done, just need another ram pipe as one is missing. I bet Kawasaki will have my trousers down for that

also got an inlet gasket so I can get a flange laser cut for the manifold

and found some rear arches kicking around at work so I've re-homed them too

Thats all for now, I'll update as I work

Looks like a nice start. Dont go mad, just get back in to driving and get some ncb built up.

Never seen a 1.4 SR on a G.. They it was only Late H's that had them.
All I wanted was a Pepsi, just one Pepsi
    Far from suicidal
    Still I get them tendencies
    Bringing back them memories
That I really miss when I reminisce
