    I'd say repair it.

    Having said that... My Mk1 (just a standard one nothing special) is getting broke and scrapped because the rust/corrosion was epicly bad. I'll get some pictures done later.

    As a warning to others attempting to repair rot boxes I will post recent MOT failure list and estimate to deal with (which i am expecting later this week)

    Thats where it gets expensive< you need to either do the work your self< or a close friend will for mates rates etc..

    self - not a chance of that
    mates rates - has been tried - work out badly

    the intention is the garage will do only as surplus staff available to keep costs to a minimum.. but at least i know it will be done right if car is repaired

    Looks like they're doing a thorough job and not just putting some plates over the rot, nice one for saving it.

    Looks good Pal, there can't be many genuine 1.4 Sr left in white either.
