    You might want to read up on Mike Sander's Fett. This is a German cavity wax like product that has won a rigorous rust proofing test in a German oldtimer magazine several years ago.

    Thanks for positive comments
    I am well pleased with work. Correcting many years of wear and tear.
    Stripping down has allowed better access for welding etc
    10/10 for the bodyshop from me.
    Unfortunately I could not see the engine bay today due to wet paint but I believe that is up to the same high standard.
    Next stage will be grey paint (not vinyl) and the parts back on (including new gutter trims)
    Possibly the bodyshop got hold of the last available new windscreen for this model

    Looking good! Have you thought about the underside? It would be good if it was possibly stripped and re coated to make it last longer.
