    Default 86' Nova Antibes

    Hello everyone been on here a while now so i thought it was time i showed you my car, iv had a few Nova's in the past il put a pic of then up first them go onto my current one which i had for nearly 4 years

    Previous Nova's -





    Right onto my current one, I bought this car Feb 2007 with a 1.4 8v carb in it i drove it for a month and took it off the road as i wanted more power.

    Few pics from when i bought it -




    So the strip down began, Engine was removed,
    Archs were stripped, cleaned and painted red,
    All lower arms, anti roll bars etc were removed, cleaned and painted,
    Engine bay seam welded and painted

    Here's the pics -





    WIth all that done i stripped the carbs and exhaust manifold etc off the engine block and fitted the block into the bay.
    I also fitted a set of EBC Turbo Grooves





    Next was to fit the carbs, Exhaust wrap and fit the exhaust manifold etc.
    Its also got a facet fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator which arent shown in this pic.




    So at the moment im fitting the interior here a pic of how its going,



    Im not very good at doing things like this but hopefully iv put enough pictures in that you understand whats going on and all comments are welcome

    Your purple mk1 SR i think it was, with a 1.6 was owned by a mate of mine, steve his name was, always called it purple ronnie i think.

    its just gone into a local scrap yard!

    Yhyh i always called it Purple Ronnie aswel please say he removed the engine before he sent it to the scrapyard. That engine had just been rebuilt before i sold it and was quick for a standard engine

    afraid not mate, he had it a few months then had to sell it on, i remember him fitting 2.0 injectors an somthing else. don't think it was running right after that he sold it on, i then noticed it in a local scrap yard i took a pic but i don't think you'd like to see the state of it now! Engine is still sitting inside it!

    Gutted mate if youve got a pic though id love to see how it ended up

    Just a little update, Fitted the carpet, cleaned and fitted the front seats

    big fan of antibes' and good work done on the car; awesome with the webers.. but i guess its too much aggro to hunt a genuine red antibes interior..?
